Optimisation Strategy for Dating Push Ads Campaigns :

Our optimization strategy is simple – Block non-performing ad creatives and placements (sites/domains) and increase bid on the performing ones. For this strategy, you need to let the campaign run for a few days (at least 3 days) without doing any optimization so it can gather some data. We used some rules as follows :

  • Block the CREATIVE if it receives 500 clicks but no conversions.
  • Block the PLACEMENT if it receives 250 but no zero conversions.
  • Block the CREATIVE if it spends $6 but no conversions.
  • Block the PLACEMENT if it spends $9 but no conversions.
  • Block the CREATIVE/PLACEMENT if there are more than 100 visits to the landing page but 0 clicks to the offer (0% CTR)

Another thing we did is increasing the bid for the high converting placements (sites/domains) and ad creatives. This way , we further optimized the campaign by minimizing the ad spend and focusing more on the profitable ones.

We found out that Android devices had higher CTR as compared to IOS devices. We also noticed that Android Version 14 was the best performer with high conversion rate. Mobile devices were performing better as compared to Tablets. Also, we found out that three browsers (eg: Chrome, Safari, Samsung Browser) had the most number of conversions.
